History is made

As of today, June 11, 2018, the set of rules known as Net Neutrality have officially ended. Much reporting has been done on this topic, but we’ve noticed that there is a lack of resources that can help consumers understand what the new Internet landscape will be like.

ISP Report launches today in an effort to help consumers take charge of their experience on the internet. We will help consumers hold their providers to high standards and help foster a sense of professional competition in the ISP industry.

A Bit of Hope

We believe that the repeal of Net Neutrality could have a positive impact on the potential for innovation in the ISP market. We could soon be looking at a whole new set of products and technologies that better fit our modern usage of the internet and its underlying technology. That being said, we understand the concern of many consumers that this will further entrench exploitative local monopolies or lead to reduction in the experience of the average customer. ISPReport.net has been built with the exclusive purpose of helping consumers guard against that outcome.

If you believe your ISP is abusing its power or breaking their agreement with you, please report it here. We will take your reports and begin providing anonymized data on abusive ISPs very soon.
